Live Your Best Life!

What I mean by living your best life is living your fullest potential for each day.

Are you living out your best self today regardless of the circumstances?

If you feel that you aren’t – guess what? You can start today.
Don’t get trapped in the thinking of “When _____________________ happens, I will start living my best life“.

For example:

  • “When my skin heals, I will live my best life”
  • “When I get this job, I will live my best life”
  • “When I have this amount of financial security, I will live my best life”
  • “When I meet the person of my dreams, I will live my best life”
  • “When this person changes, I will live my best life.”
  • “When my kids grow up, I will live my best life”

Because your best life happens, when you take care of yourself – your mind, your heart and your body of today.

If you don’t take good care of yourself, how can you take the best care of what is entrusted to you each day?

If you don’t know where to start – start with you mind. Ours minds are affected by what we see, what we hear, the people we surround ourselves with, the Instagram posts we see, the media we consume and even the environments we are in…etc.

Often, marketing will instill in our minds that you need to have “_______” in order to have “______”.

But in my opinion, what comes before all of that is – remove the stuff in your life that are negatively affecting you.

Prioritize taking care of yourself first over everything else – mental clarity is key.

If you haven’t been doing that for years, that is ok – it won’t happen over night. For me, I started practice setting boundaries in various aspects of my life, started prioritizing what is important versus nice to have for each day, and reframing the way I used think.

It is a life long daily practice. One day at a time, it gets easier and better each day. Its not a ticket to having a problem free life – but you will be more control, at peace and happier regardless of your circumstances.

And your future self will thank you for doing this today.
