Crispy Oven Baked Fries Recipe

INGREDIENTS (2 – 3 servings):⁣

  • 3 large Russet Potatoes⁣
  • 1/2 tbsp ghee (or avocado oil)⁣
  • Salt to taste⁣
  • Dipping sauce: 2 tbsp vegan mayo + 1/2 tbsp wasabi

METHOD:

  1. Scrub and wash potatoes clean.⁣
  2. Preheat oven to 425F. ⁣
  3. Cut russet potatoes into strips – size depends on your preference but ty to keep them the same thickness.⁣
  4. On a microwavable large plate, place a paper towel on it. Then later the uncooked fries on the plate. Do not overlap or stack.⁣
  5. Microwave for 3 mins. You can boil them if you don’t use a microwave oven.
  6. Pat the microwaved fries dry.⁣
  7. Place them in a large mixing bowl. Let them cool abit so you won’t burn yourself when you coat the fries.⁣
  8. Put the ghee on the fries and using gloves or clean hands, ensure the ghee coats the fries.⁣
  9. Line baking tray with parchment paper. Do not overlap.
  10. Bake for 30 mins.⁣
  11. Then flip the fries over. I used chopsticks, easier.
  12. Bake another 15 mins or until golden brown and crispy.⁣
  13. When ready, place the fries into a dry mixing bowl and sprinkle fries to taste. You can also add dried parsley if you’d like.⁣
  14. To make wasabi mayo: put 2 tbsp mayo in a small sauce bowl. Add 1/2 tbsp of wasabi and mix!⁣
  15. Ready to serve!
