It tastes really good with snap peas, bringing out the natural sweetness of snap peas matched with the aromas of white sesame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sensitiveskinlifestyle.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/sugar-snap-peas-gomaae-1024x576.png\" alt=\"Photo of my sugar snap pea goma-ae recipe done\" class=\"wp-image-536\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sensitiveskinlifestyle.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/sugar-snap-peas-gomaae-1024x576.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.sensitiveskinlifestyle.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/sugar-snap-peas-gomaae-300x169.png 300w, https:\/\/www.sensitiveskinlifestyle.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/sugar-snap-peas-gomaae-768x432.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">INGREDIENTS (2 &#8211; 3 servings):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>400g whole sugar snap peas<\/li><li>2 tbsp roasted white sesame seeds*<\/li><li>1\/2 tbsp oil &#8211; I used olive oil<\/li><li>1 tbsp gluten free soy sauce or tamari<\/li><li>1\/2 tsp maple sugar or maple syrup<\/li><li>1\/8 tsp salt<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*if using raw sesame seeds, just lightly toast them without any oil on a fry pan until it turns slightly golden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">METHOD:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Prepare sesame dressing: Grind the white sesame seeds in a small blender or food processor. <\/li><li>Place grounded sesame in a small bowl. Add maple syrup and soy sauce. Mix. It will resemble a paste. Set aside.<\/li><li>Wash the snap peas.<\/li><li>Cut off the ends of the snap peas. You can either line it against a knife and cut them off. Glaze oil evenly across the fry pan &#8211; I used a silicone brush. This method allows us to use minimal oil.<\/li><li>When oil is heated, add in the whole snap peas. Stir fry 1-2 mins.<br \/>\/\/Be-careful not to over cook. Snap peas should be warm yet still retain its crunchiness.<\/li><li>Sprinkle salt. Mix.<\/li><li>Add in half the sesame dressing. Stir fry to coat the snap peas.<\/li><li>Snap peas are done.
